Rocking Goat Farms Gamora (Gammy)
I purchased Gammy and she acted like she's never been on the stand. She has come a long way since this spring. She willingly jumps onto the stand and stands nicely for milking. I milk once a day and she is producing about two quarts. I started her milking/ training process after her kid was old enough to wean so caught her at the end of what would have been her production cycle. I'm sure you could start doing twice a day and bring her production up. She is a gentle girl, but is still learning to trust and is not a fan of my noisy eight year old son. She would do great with a quieter place, a solid routine and time to bond with her herd - keeper. Gammy has beautiful moon spots and a large body. I machine milk her, then hand milk out the rest of the way. She would be great hand milked only. My weird hobby is taking untrained goats, training them, and then letting others enjoy them. Gammy has been a fun project. She would make a good recip doe for fancy boer show goats. Nice large body. Polk, Ne
